Out here, it’s all about space, sky, and that unmistakable desert light. Mornings roll in soft and quiet, the horizon stretches forever, and by afternoon the landscape shifts through warm tones that only the Centre seems to do properly.
Come sunset, it’s the kind of view that makes you stop mid-sentence — then the stars take over and you realise just how far you are from the noise.
We created The Squeaky Windmill as a place to slow down and actually breathe. Whether you’re here for a reset, an adventure base, or just a peaceful night under a huge sky, we want you to feel comfortable, welcome, and completely at ease — with the best seat in the house for everything the outback puts on show.
